MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER
I have been Mental Health First Aid trained since 2017. MHFA training equips one to recognise early warning signs of mental health challenges, reduce stigma, de-escalate situations, and respond appropriately during a crisis. It also focuses on establishing healthy boundaries, offering initial support, and signposting people to the right professional or community resources.
In all my coaching, but the performing arts world particularly—where vulnerability, stress, and emotional exposure are common—it helps to be able to spot when something isn’t right and respond calmly, confidently, and with care.
